Aer Lingus is the second-largest airline of Ireland which is also the flag-carrier which was founded by the Irish government. The airline is a subsidiary of International Airlines Group which is the parent company of British Airways and Iberia. The airline was a member of the Oneworld airline alliance until 2007.
Alliance
SkyTeam founded in June 2000 has 19 members who collectively carry over 630 million passengers each year reaching over 1150 destinations. SkyTeam alliance and its members have 750 lounges worldwide. Passengers can access privileges based on the status of the member airline's frequent flyer program. SkyTeam has two frequent flyer program tiers which are Elite and Elite Plus are linked with the status of the airline membership programs.

Travel Class
Aer Lingus provides three classes of travel:
Business class: Aer Lingus provides Business class guests with the best in-flight and onboarding services. The cabin class has complimentary Wi-Fi, drinks and snacks. The Revival Lounge lets guests freshen up before the flight. The fully-flat convertible bed lets passengers rest in comfort and luxury.
AerSpace: Aer Lingus's Premium Economy class is known as AerSpace which not only provides more space but also luxury and comfort as the middle seat is left vacant. The passengers also get a premium boarding and check-in. Prior to boarding guests also have access to the lounge.
Economy Class: Aer Lingus's economy class provides all passengers with complimentary meals with 'Dine Up' which is the meal service which can be ordered online or can be purchased on board. Baggage Allowance
Aer Lingus passengers can bring along a 10kg baggage allowance for Carry-On and 2 pieces of Checked bag weighing from 15 - 40 kg each depending on the flight route and class of travel. Details for passengers with extra luggage can be read here.

Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in 30 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in 30 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time.
In-flight Services
Aer Lingus offers passengers with a buy-on-board menu which consists of snacks, hot/cold beverages. All special meals can be requested 24 hours before departure by contacting the airline directly to know more about the options.
Onboard Support
Aer Lingus provides assistance to passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check-in are provided by on-ground staff. Passengers can choose a service that best suits their needs. Expectant mothers, parents of unaccompanied children, differently-abled personals by directly contacting customer care.
Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through Aer Lingus sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee. In accordance with international safety regulations and Aer Lingus operating procedures, PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY and CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 can not be seated at an exit row. The maximum weight allowable for the carriage of sports equipment is 23kgs/50lbs. Normal excess baggage rates apply if the passenger carries excess to this maximum allowance. Sports equipment on long-haul flights is carried as part of your normal baggage allowance/fee structure. *Only 20kg Baggage option available at Airport.
